Formula Help - IF FUNCTION

Hello,

I'm trying to create a formula which would give me the total amount sold. So for example I'm trying to get a formula which would say if column A = 'Sale' and Column B = 'Office' then total amount for office would be £373,000.

Column A Column B Column C
Sale Office £123,000
Lease Office £21,000
Sale Office £250,000
Sale Retail £120,000

Hope this makes sense. Can anyone help?
