Copy and rename sheet with data from main sheet

Hello,

I want to creat a button up in the work ribbon wich does the following:

Copy a worksheet and rename it to a name listed in an index sheet.
In the index sheet there's not only the name of the sheet but also data that needs to be linked to the new sheet, so each row needs to be in another worksheet on the correct places.

I have some expierence adding scripts into google Spreadheets but microsoft excel is quite a bit diffrent imo.
