Monitor won't display when CPU turns on

I was playing a game when my monitor froze. I turned off my CPU and restarted it but I'm now receiving the no signal message. I already tried unplugging and plugging my HDMI cable back in. What's wrong?

Specs:
ASUS 144hz Monitor
EVGA GeForce GTX 750ti SC
ASUS Z170
4GB Corsair RAM x2
i7 Quadcore 7700k
