Hardisk the eject option pops in task bar ,but it is not visible

Hello
I have a WD elements 2 tb hardrive ,when I connect it the eject option pops in task bar ,but it is not visible in( my computers)
Even the status show that my hardrive is working properly,also in disk management it shows unknown and not initialized and when I try to fix the problem ,it shows an i/o error.
