I have a Samsung SyncMaster2443BW monitor. The problem is that it won't stay on for more than 2 seconds. When I turn the power on it makes a squealing sound, shows the display for a moment and goes black but the power light stays on. I would like to fix it if possible. Any ideas?
I just tried the monitor again now. I read that it could be a capacitor problem and to turn the brightness down. It still won't stay on but now shows the display for 4 seconds and the squealing sound is down to a hiss (sounds like static).
