Keyboard and scrolling not working

Hello, My keyboard and scrolling doesn't work on my vaio. I can't even type in the password. Iv'e tried the assist button and fn with combinations I've looked up but nothing works. I know my keyboard is still working but the keys and scrolling are stuck somehow.Is there anything I could try besides taking out the battery because I've tried that too.
