Western digital HDD being shown as a CD drive

Hi there,
I recently dropped my 1tb WD (My passport ultra) HDD on the floor, after that I connected it to my PC (windows 8.1 64 bit) but now it is being shown as a CD drive with zero MB space available. I also tried changing letter of this CD drive from 'H' to 'P' in disk management box but it didn't work. Plz help me, I have important data on this drive which I cannot risk to lose. Thanks
