HP Unveils New Pavilion Lineup

The school year is coming to a close, but that hasn't stopped HP from releasing new back-to-school Pavilion PCs.

(CCM) — On Tuesday, Hewlett-Packard unveiled a slew of new Windows 10 Pavilion PCs, including desktops, convertibles, and notebooks. "Some customers want thin and light PCs for on-the-go, while other customers want power and performance to create and store," said Kevin Frost, Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Personal Systems at HP, in a statement on the new PCs. "HP's redesigned Pavilion PCs offer affordability and a variety of options for customers to get the functionality they need in a PC packed with style and personality."

To meet customers' desire for mobility, HP offers its Pavilion convertible and notebook PCs, which it boasts are "thinner and lighter than the previous generation." These PCs feature Prismatic Lithium-ion battery cells for improved battery life and HP Fast Charge for speedy charge times, as well as a new thread design pattern. The new HP Pavilion x360 has been redesigned with custom-tuned audio from B&O Play and a choice between the latest Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium, or up to 6th generation Intel Core i7 processors. It also now comes in 11.6", 13.3", and 15.6" models. The new Pavilion notebooks, available in 14", 15.6", and 17.3" models, are 11 to 22 percent thinner and lighter than last year's models, and boast edge-to-edge HD or FHD IPS displays with optional touch. The new HP Pavilion All-in-Ones are available in 23.8" and 27" variants, and feature full HD or Quad HD displays with optional touch. Also included is a pop-up HP Privacy Camera that stays hidden and disabled when not in use, and massive memory options up to 3TB. The new HP Pavilion Desktop offers a smaller tower, without sacrificing productivity or entertainment features. The HP Pavilion line will begin rolling out online and to retailers starting May 15th, though not all Pavilion devices will be available at that time. The HP Pavilion All-in-Ones, Desktop, and HP Pavilion Display will launch later this summer.
