(CCM) — Korean tech giant Samsung is offering to sell their popular Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 phones at an extremely reduced price for the Make in India initiative. The phones, originally priced at 33,900 rupees (510 USD) and 42,500 rupees (639 USD), respectively, will be offered at one rupee each. The remainder of the phone's price has to, then, be paid off in 10 monthly installments. In addition to slashed prices, the company is offering a cash-back deal of 10 percent on transactions done by credit or debit card. The offer is only valid for those who choose to pay using the loan services of Capital First or Bajaj Finserv.
This promotion, which comes just as Samsung celebrates its 20th anniversary in India, is one of many launched by the company. It is also offering deals on UHD, Full HD, and SUHD TVs, each of which include: rebates ranging from 5 to 11 percent; EMI options; a free two-year warranty; and HD DTH connection. There are also several offers on home appliances, like microwave ovens, air conditioners, and refrigerators. These offers are set to run until May 15th.
