Roku has unveiled a brand new line of streaming players to capture every type of watcher.
(CCM) — On Monday, Roku rolled out a new lineup of streaming players with features, prices, and performances that aim to reel in watchers of every type, according to a press release by Business Insider. Of the five new systems that were introduced by the company is the Roku Express, which offers 1080p HD streaming (for $39.99), and the Roku Express+ (priced at $49.99), both of which are geared toward viewers who are looking for a low-cost streaming option. There is also the Roku Premiere (priced at $89.99), Roku Premiere+ (priced at $109.99), and the Roku Ultra (priced at $139.99), which support HDR streaming among other advanced features.
"Whether consumers simply want fast HD streaming via an inexpensive device or are looking for a top-of-the-line player with advanced features such as 4K and HDR, Roku is an easy choice," said Roku's founder and CEO, Anthony Wood. The players are expected in international retailers in October.
