Nintendo has announced an event where it will release the Switch's price and official launch date.
(CCM) — Last week, Nintendo finally responded to the wishes of gamers all over with the unveiling of its Switch gaming system. And now, according to an article on the company's website, it plans on elaborating on its original announcement. On Wednesday, the company's president, Tatsumi Kimishima, revealed to financial analysts that major details about Nintendo's forthcoming home gaming system will be broadcast at the company's Switch Presentation on Jan. 12, 2017. The event, which will be held in Tokyo for invited media, analysts, and trade partners, will be live streamed and is expected to cover the Switch's launch date and pricing information as well the lineup of games currently in development at Nintendo. The exact time of the event will be shared on the firm's social media accounts in the coming weeks.
Kimishima also announced that sampling events for the Nintendo Switch will take place in the U.S. and throughout Europe after the presentation. Although these sampling opportunities will only be open to media, Nintendo partners, and consumers, the company assures the public that there will be opportunities for it to take part in other hands-on events.
