Galaxy Devices Listed for Nougat Update
Samsung has confirmed eight Galaxy devices that will get the Nougat update between now and May 2017.

(CCM) — Samsung recently confirmed the official worldwide Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge devices. Now, Samsung has revealed in a blog post a list of Galaxy devices that will definitely be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update in the first half of 2017. The eight devices are the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 edge and edge Plus, the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, the Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlocked), the Galaxy A3, and the Galaxy A. In addition to the select devices mentioned in the list, Samsung will also be working on delivering the Nougat update for other Galaxy devices.


The Nougat update on Samsung devices brings a plethora of new features, such as an improved multi-window feature, a new quick panel, an enhanced notification panel, and an all-new performance mode for improving battery life. There is also the brand-new “Samsung Pass” feature, which works as a password keychain for secure login on the mobile device’s internet.
