The Galaxy S8 Plus has emerged as the preferred mobile device in the US and South Korea.
(CCM) — Samsung's recently launched Galaxy S8 lineup just broke pre-order records in the US.
Most of the buyers are opting for the larger display variant, the Galaxy S8 Plus. According to Samsung USA, pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 lineup are outperforming last year's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The company is projecting strong double-digit growth in sales. The Midnight Black version of the Galaxy S8 Plus is the favorite among customers.
In the US, the Galaxy S8 lineup is available in Arctic Silver, Midnight Black, and Orchid Grey. The Galaxy S8 is equipped with a 5.8-inch QHD+ display and a 3000mAh battery. Those who prefer the larger version will find the Galaxy S8 Plus equipped with a larger 6.2-inch QHD+ display and a 3500mAh battery.
Both phones have received overwhelming customer response in the US as well as in South Korea. According to a report, in South Korea, more than 550,000 Galaxy S8 devices were pre-ordered in just two days. Similar to the US, Samsung's Galaxy S8 Plus is the favorite pick among South Korean customers. There is also a special edition of the Galaxy S8 Plus with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, but it is limited to South Korea and surrounding regions only.
