The upcoming iPhone 8 is rumoured to feature extended battery life.
(CCM) — According to Cowen and Company analyst Timothy Arcuri, Apple is expected to announce three new iPhones featuring 3GB of RAM this year.
Arcuri published a report last month that hints at potential specs for the upcoming iPhones. The three models are expected to come with 3GB of RAM and a 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch display. These phones are most likely to have the same storage capacity as the current iPhone 7 line-up, including the 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB versions. There will also be a 5.8-inch model of the upcoming iPhone, which will be available in two storage options, 64GB and 256GB.
Considering that the report appears authentic, there is a fair chance that the smallest screen size would be 4.7 inches. An excerpt about the iPhone 8 says: "extended battery life with two packs of batteries." The base variants for the upcoming Apple iPhone 7s lineup are believed to come with a default 32GB of internal storage.
The report also confirms information that was leaked earlier by a KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo. It affirms that the upcoming three new iPhones will feature Lightning connectors, but with USB Type-C functionality to provide fast charging.
These reports are just predictions by industry experts. We will get full picture when
Apple makes the phones official.
