LG could launch its second flagship-level device this fall, most likely at the IFA event.
(CCM) — LG is all set to take the wraps off its new phone in the V-series, dubbed LG V30. The company is going to unleash the device at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) event in Berlin on August 31, 2017. It is the second high-end phone that LG is going to announce after releasing the LG G6 a few months ago.
Evan Blass leaked the invitation for the event on Twitter. In his tweet, Blass mentioned that the device is most likely to launch during a pre-IFA event on August 31, 2017. The announcement of the LG V30 comes almost a year after the launch of its predecessor, the LG V20.
The leaked invite for the phone does not reveal much information. However, a few days back, MySmartPrice leaked renders of the device on its Gear blog. According to the leaked renders, the LG V30 is expected to come with a single large display of up to 6-inches. It means that this time around we might see LG ditching the trademark secondary display on the V-series handset. Other rumours suggest that the V30 could feature dual rear camera setup on the rear along with the fingerprint scanner. For connectivity, the phone might come with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm jack for audio.
We have to wait until August 31, 2017 for the official details about the LG V30. Until then, we suggest our readers take the information mentioned above with a grain of salt.
