Motorola has announced the Moto Z2 Force smartphone with a dual-camera setup for better imaging output.
(CCM) — Motorola has launched a new entrant in its Moto Z series, dubbed Moto Z2 Force. The device is a successor to last year's Moto Z Force smartphone. Pricing for the Moto Z2 Force will vary depending on the retailer or carrier you are buying it from. It will be up for sale in the US from major carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and retailers like Best Buy.
Regarding specifications, the Moto Z2 Force comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD POLED ShatterShield display, which makes it shatter resistant. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable internal storage. There is a dual-camera setup on the rear with two 12 MP lenses. On the front, the phone has a 5 MP front-facing camera.
Other notable features on the device are connectivity options that include support for dual SIM, NFC, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box, but it will be receiving an update for the latest Android 8.0 whenever the version goes public. The battery capacity on the Moto Z2 Force smartphone is 2730mAh, clubbed with a 15W TurboPower charger for rapid charging.
