(CCM) — Lego has unleashed a 3,599 piece model of the monstrously powerful 1500-horsepower Bugatti Chiron, one of the fastest and most expensive hypercars ever made.

Only 100 of the $3.3 million Chirons have ever been assembled since its debut two years ago, but the Lego 1:8 scale replica can be built in the owner's bedroom in about ten hours, according to a Maxim report.

It includes the Chiron's W16 engine (with moving pistons), an 8-speed gearbox with paddle shifters, and an adjustable active rear wing, the report says. The power train fits into a detailed body that faithfully recreates the suspension design of the real-life Chiron, thanks to development input from some of Bugatti's engineering team.

Lifting the hood provides access to a storage compartment containing a Bugatti overnight bag, and a "top speed" key can be inserted to switch the active rear wing from "handling" to "top speed" position.

The Lego Bugatti Chiron is part of the company's Technic line of complex models designed for adults and over 16s, which includes other supercars such as the Porsche 911.

When built the Lego Bugatti Chiron is 22 inches long and 5 inches high. It is available now online or in Lego stores across the country priced at $350.
