Snapchat Messages Can Now Be Unsent
The latest Snapchat Spectacles are also now available from Amazon, the company has announced.

(CCM) — Snapchat users can now delete messages they wish they had not sent, as long as they have not yet been opened and viewed by the recipient.

The new "Delete Chat" feature, which is being introduced in the latest version of the app, can remove a message but still notifies the recipient (or recipients) that a message that had been sent to them has been deleted, according to a 9to5Mac report.

However, users are warned that once a recipient opens a message they can easily take a screenshot of it and view it later even if the message is subsequently deleted. The new feature will begin rolling out from today, with users around the world getting access to it over the coming weeks.

The company has also announced that its second-generation water-resistant Spectacles will be available to purchase from Amazon from today. The original Spectacles were only available from pop-up vending machines before appearing online, and previously the second-generation versions were only available on before they sold out.

The new Spectacles are priced at $149.99 on Amazon and are available in Onyx Moonlight, Sapphire Twilight, and Ruby Daybreak. The original Spectacles are also available for purchase from Amazon.
