Instagram Lets Users Ask Anything
Instagram users can now invite questions directly from their Stories.

(CCM) — Instagram users can now add a "questions" sticker to their Stories, inviting anyone watching the Story to ask them a question about anything at all, Fortune is reporting.

After selecting the new "questions" sticker from the sticker library, users add some text, such as "waiting for the bus… ask me questions!,” stick it to a photo or video, and then add it to a Story.

Anyone viewing the Story can ask a question by typing in the text box on the "questions" sticker, and while the Story owner can see who asked the question, it appears anonymous to other Story viewers. Tapping on the question allows the Story owner to create a new Story with the question and their answer, the report says.

Instagram has launched at least eight new features and updates since the beginning of June as it seeks to gain an unassailable lead over rival Snapchat. Last month the company claimed that its Stories feature has over 400 million daily users, more than double the number of daily users for Snapchat's Stories.

The new "questions" sticker is available now in the latest update to the iOS and Android versions of the app.
