(CCM) — Snapchat's latest attempt to reduce its financial losses involves a Bitmoji merchandising store offering a range of goods which feature users' personalized Bitmoji avatars.

The store, which will open in the U.S. on Nov. 14, 2018 on iOS only, will offer $2 stickers, $15 coffee mugs, $16 standard t-shirts and notebooks, $22 triblend t-shirts, $27 sweatshirts, and other miscellaneous goods such as towels, pillow cases and phone cases, according to a Techcrunch report. Users can personalize them by adding their own Bitmoji, one of their friends', theirs and a friend's, or any two of their friends' Bitmoji.

Users can access the Bimoji Store from the Snap Store in the settings menu of Snapchat, the report adds.

At the same time, Snapchat is also launching Bitmoji Stories, which are short comic strips which users will be able to personalize with their own and friends' Bitmoji.

Snapchat's parent company Snap lost $325 million in the last quarter, so it will be hoping that the store can generate enough cash to avoid having to take an outside investment or being acquired by a larger company such as Facebook or Google.
