Microsoft Introduces Mouse for Gamers
The IntelliMouse Pro sensor offers up to 16,000 DPI for ultra-precise gaming control.

(CCM) — Microsoft continues to revitalize its IntelliMouse mouse range with the introduction of a new IntelliMouse Pro edition which has been designed specifically to appeal to high-end gamers.

Back in 2017 the company brought back its IntelliMouse with the Classic IntelliMouse, based on the IntelliMouse 3.0, but the new Pro version upgrades this with a better tracking sensor, improved key actuation, a braided cable, and a textured finish, The Verge is reporting.

The sensor now supports up to 16,000 dots per inch (DPI) with a 12,000 frames per second (fps) refresh rate for extreme mouse control, and this can be configured though Microsoft's Mouse and Keyboard software. The same software can also be used to set up macros and remap buttons, the report says.

The IntelliMouse Pro is available in both black and white, and users can customize the rear light color to match their keyboard or any other color scheme they choose.

The gaming mouse has already been launched in China only, but it will be available in the U.S. in the next few weeks priced at $59.99. The Classic IntelliMouse is already available at the slightly lower price of $39.99.
