Dvd writter problem

hello friends,
my dvd writer does not read and write.
but power goes properly,anddata signal also go properly
for example my dvd drive eject properly when i do my computer->cd drive->
right click->eject. i cant identify the problem.if you know the solution please help me..

H i there,

Clean the lens,use a cd/dvd lens cleaner for the task and if same matter then you will have to change the drive.
