Sata dvd combo

Hello,

i have a sata super combo and sata hard disk.The problem is that i only have two sata slots on my mother board and one sata slot is malfunctioned so i can only plug my hard disk on my mother board and my dvd super combo is useless without sata slot so what should i do?

Hi there,

If the slot is damaged then you can use it as external device ,you have to purchase an external enclosure for dvd drive and mention it for sata type then plug via usb.
