Cd dvd drive playing audio & dvd not burning

Hi i installed a pioneer dvd-rw dvr-112d in my computer it plays audio & dvd disc's but when i try to burn a cd it tells me error burning disc i have tried 3 different burning software & the same thing keeps happening..... so i need help please!!!! thank you

Hi I'm using ashampoo burning studio 2010 advanced & cd burner xp!!
