Pls help!!

Hello,
i have windows vista installed on my laptop, i downloaded some files using fire fox and now i cannot find them anywhere, i even did a search and it came up empty. The files i download usually appear on my desktop but it did not this time. i tried to click on them from the small download box but that doesn't work either. i don't really know much about computers, please help!

hi,
go to My Documents > Downloads then check in the folders.
or it might be that you deleted them by mistake.
try to download another thing (a picture) and note its location, the other files may be there too.
