Hello Memo
It is simple to remove but will require some work:
1. Search and delete the following files:
C:\Windows\AVShlExt.dll
* C:\Windows\System32\ISafeIf.dll
* C:\Windows\System32\iSafProd.dll
* C:\Windows\System32\VetRedir.dll
* C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\VetEBoot.sys
* C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\VetEFile.sys
* C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\VetFDDNT.sys
* C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Vet-Filt.sys
* C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\VetMonNT.sys
* C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Vet-Rec.sys
* C:\Program Files\CA\eTrust EZ Armor\eTrust EZ Antivirus
*
The EZAV start menu program group located in Start->All Programs
* In the registry:
2. Click on run, type regedit and locate the following values then delete them:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\Ant i-Virus
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVIC ES\
3. Delete the following keys
VETEBOOT
VETEFILE
VETFDDNT
VET-FILT
VETMONNT
VETMSGNT
VET-REC
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURR ENTVERSION\UNINSTALL\
Delete the following key
VETWIN32Vp5
It is all gone now!
Restart the PC.
