Hello,

I am probably repeating a question that was already asked.

I have a dell e1705 which just stopped working after my grandson spilt milk on it. I ordered a motherboard(dell refurbished, same model #) and replaced it. Then I got a message saying it could not read my hard drive, I replaced that. Now when I start it up, it does nothing. I can hear the click of the harddrive, I can hear the fan, the battery light lights up, the power light is on but the the harddrive light turns on then goes off. Do I have to do anything to get these to work (cd's?). Thank you for your help.

hi sir,

you will have to reinstall your operating system again on the hard drive,

use the following link to download your drivers from official dell website:

http://dell.driversdown.com/dell-drivers-list/s_536_1.shtml

or if you have manufacturer cd use them after windows installation

Thanks
