Hello,
I'm using a Sony Vaio with Windows XP. My HP webcam was working a few months ago. I disconnected it a few weeks ago and now when I plugged it back in, the video works, the person I'm skyping can see me but can't hear me. I can hear them. One other variable is that I installed memory recently. Could that have created a problem?
