Dvd writer problem

Hello,
i have a acer 4720z lap top.my problem is with my dvd writer.problem is sometimes it reads dvd sometimes it does not.i have vista loded on my laptop.its a pioneer dvd writer

Hi there,

Use a lens cleaner and get the cleaned and clean your cds before inserting in the drive,not to damage it more.
