DVD FAILURE

Hello, can anyoneplease help me,,,i have an optiarc dvd rw ad-7530b ata drive, however it will not read any disc that i put in,, the driver is displayed in device manager and it shows that it is ok and working,, im using a hp compaq model F560EM, OS vista

hey there may be the dvd rom drive isnt anymore good in your pc and sometimes dvd roms get spoilt and there is nothing you can do for that except changing it and fotunately dude dvd roms are not that cheap.
