Nokia 2730 verify code issue Closed

Question

Hello,  my name is lee. a recently purchased a Nokia 2730 3G phone, I went to put in a PIN code and the phone then  told me to enter the PUK code, I did so and then wen the phone asked me to enter a new PIN I did, but when it said verify I tried and the phone said code error. I have done this twice. Somebody please help

It is the original code that was set by the manufacturer that you need to enter.

Hi there,

You should enter same pin code twice else it will be locked again ,if you are having issues with it note new password on a piece of paper and enter it.

have exactly same issue. I updated firmware to ver.10.45 via pc-suite. When the phone rebooted and asked for pin, it would not accept my pin code.
Entering PUK code is ok, and I can then choose new PIN code which it then do NOT accept again. 
I have tried to turn the device off and on, same thing happens.

any suggestions?
