My CD\DVD isn't reading ..

Hello Guys >>

I have moved my cd drive to another PC to open a disc on the PC and when I got it connected to the PC , it worked , open\close , but doesnt read any disk like its empty.

i got it back to my PC and the same problem .. it wont read any thing

please help me , thanks .

may be it's lens has gone or damaged.....Have you checked all cables...May be you are missing something.....If problem is not solved then better to consult to the computer mechanic or get a new one.....

Hi OMB,

You must ensure that you have installed the proper driver for it and that the lens is perfectly clean.

Well I think it damaged ..
when I moved it the PC was off but it has damaged ...
