Hello, I'm new

I just wanted to share a solution. I couldn't download Skype because I had files left from previous versions, even though I'd been through and thought I'd deleted all of them manually.

I kept getting 1603 error message. Skype Support and the Forums were of ZERO assistance.

This software link had the problem resolved in minutes (I'd been going at it for 2 days :( ...)
