I'm pretty dumb, never used Kies before except on initial installation to get my Samsun SII up and running. I have Outlook and I bought CompanionLink to make syncs easier, but I have a lot of problems.

Is anything more than Kies necessary?

Or does Kies do the same thing (linking / sync'ing Outlook Calendar, Contacts, etc. between desktop and phone)?

Sorry to ask such a stupid question. If I don't get a quick answer I'll try to work through all the web stuff and find out.

Thanks.

Hi,
Kies is used effectively to synchronize your mobile phone data such as photos, music, applications, contacts... But it is not linked to Outlook, as far as I know.

What do you want to do? Your contacts, calendar,..are synchronized with your Google account. Maybe you can find a way to import these data into Outlook.
