Dear Raj,
What you've changed before this problem is surfaced? How many screen the system passes before it shutdown automatically?
With the very less information provided, I'd suggest you the possible fixes and see if it might works in your case:
1) Upgrade your hardware.
2) Repair your computer. You'll need to have Windows installation CD if you're using XP. In Windows 7, you'll find this option as an inbuilt and can easily get there by pressing 'F8' just after starting your system and choose 'Advanced Option'.
3) Upgrade all your system driver to its latest. Check for BIOS settings too and set it to defaults.
4) Check if CPU fan is working properly. Excess heat might prevents system to run smoothly and causes to restart abruptly.
