Recently keyboard was acting up in my satellite C655d so I decided to format my hard drive, next thing I know the recovery disk is telling me it's missing preinst7.swm, preinst8.swm, preinst9.swm. I made these disk first thing when I bought it, and no error message when I made it. Thinking it was ok up until I had to start using it. Toshiba support gave me every excuse under the sun as to why it was missing. From the dvd disk being old after 2 years, to a bad hard drive, to it being my fault. First off if the dvd was bad the first disk would of not ran, it never gave me an error message saying it was bad, onto my second disk it started to tell me it was missing those files mentioned above. I Have 10 to 20 year old disks that still run fine how can a two year old dvd disk be bad after only 2 years, never touched, nor played? It looks like they still have that data transfer problem back from 1999 and won't take responsibility for it.On top of that they want me to pay for the shipping charge when it's their fault the data didn't transfer over. Time for another class action lawsuit.
