Open Workbench is a free software that helps manager make decision. The application is generally used to managing projects, portfolio and also human resources. Manager handle Open Workbench in order to optimize tasks.

Key features :
-Project Planning : Open Workbench can create project structure plans including activities, tasks and milestones. The application also demonstrates dependencies in the project and manages them. When projects take a huge amount of resource, Open Workbench can create sub-projects and links to the main project.
-Resource management : The program is also used for the management of human resources. The application determines resources such as employees, equipment, materials or costs. It also assigns human resources to work on tasks and also defines the allocation of resources.
-Project Process-Plan : The Auto-plan function helps decision maker schedule and optimize tasks. Moreover, Open WorkBench automatically calculates the critical path and estimates the feasibility of the project.
-Project Controlling : Thanks to the different reports in which status in percentages and estimates are clearly represented, manager get a better control of the project. It also presents the Gantt Chart that illustrate a project scheduled by defining on one hand the tasks and on the other hand the beginning and the end of the project.

-Thanks to its simple visualization, it is a very simple easy to use application.

Cons :
-It can not necessarily print your review.
-As it is only compatible with Office Project Standard, it is not practical for manager that generally uses MS Word 2007.
