Stykz is easy-to-use and fun, however, it hasn't been updated for over a decade.
Stykz is a software that allows users to draw a stick-man and to animate it. It was developed by Sons of Thunder Software, Inc. and lastly updated in 2011. In this article, we discuss some of the software’s key features, as well as some additional information.
Here are some of the Stykz animation software’s main features:
Multi-Platform Animating: Thanks to this feature, users are not limited and are able to create, review and edit their animations on Windows, as well as on Mac.
Frames: Because Stykz is frame-based, you can always monitor the previous frame and adjust the current one when needed..
Edit on Stage: Another great thing about Stykz is that users can directly edit “on Stage”, without a separate, editing window.
Manipulate Figures: After selecting a figure through the Select tool, you can rotate, scale, flip, duplicate, colorize, and align them.
Export: With Stykz, you can export your work to QuickTime, Animated GIF, or a sequence of images.
Stykz is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7. The software is also available for Mac (prior to macOS Catalina).
