I bought a Lenovo thinkpad laptop some 10 years ago.
The DVD drive now only registers a CD that has a program install on it, such Microsoft office. When I insert a Video DVD, it doesn't show the drive at all in Explorer.
There is a Intervideo WinDVD 8, and a Corel Moviefactory software installed on the laptop.
The laptop is Windows 10 and updated.
How do I get the DVD drive to work?
I do not want to buy a DVD player program

Thanks

Windows 10 does not come with a DVD program. You will need to download something to play DVDs.
