Needing some assistance getting a DVD-R to play that was burned by my local police department of dash cam footage. Every device i have tried to play it on give me a notification that says no playable data. Thanks for reading and any help i can get.

There are two possibilities. The police did not burn any data on the disk or the data is in an unreadable format.

I suggest that you return to the station and enquire.
