Webcam question, .... talk over 'video'

Hello:
I set-up Webcam Logitech c920 and seems working OK, camera is in fine tune.

The reason I got Webcam is I need to communicate with the Dr. who is further away for me to travel.

In order to communicate with the Dr., do I need to Skype?

I am completely new to Webcam, .... particularly talking with the Dr. by using Webcam, etc.

Any help on this regard would truly appreciated.

I suggest you determine what service the doctor uses.

Skype is one of many he might use.

Thanks for the response.
He's practicing both office and TeleMD and recently he's more for TeleMD on which he seems more patients. Then, I assume he has Skype is one of them to communicate with the patients.

Since I'm very new for the TeleMD/over Video, I'm scared whether or not I could connect and talk over Video successfully.

Any suggestions on this regard would be really appreciated.
