How can I fix high latency spikes?

Hello. For a while now I have been experiencing ping spikes while I play fortnite. I don't know why I get ping spikes but its really annoying since my friends NEVER experience this.
My usual ping in a game is 50, and then every now and then it spikes up to 150+

How can I fix this? (My router doesn't support QOS)

Are you connected via wifi?

If so, is there anything nearby or between you and the router that could cause interference? Such as a microwave?

Does your router have 5G wifi? Are you using it?

If its sometimes and not all the time is it your computer doing stuff? antivirus scans? Are you torrenting? Is someone else in your house downloading?
