Double tapping the sensor light solved it for me. Thanks for sharing this guys.

Thank you! Although pretty logical, I’d bet I’ve been mystified by a locked touchpad before. At least I thought to “google” for a solution fairly quickly this time…

this worked perfectly in less than a second or two i have a working trackpad and that is after trying to use my settings and fix to no avail. i would felt really ignorant had i called my IT team to fix. Thank you!!!!
