Hi,
Close Word and go to C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks.
Select the 1033 file in the Document Building Blocks folder and rename it. The number may not be exactly the same depending on the language used with Word.
Once done, open Word and see if the problem was solved. If this is the case, you can delete the old file you renamed as Word has regenerated a new one.

How do I find this "Documents and Settings" in C drive? I don't see any folder labeled with this name. Also, I tried manually writing this name at the top and hit enter and it gives me an "Access Denied" dialogue box.

Press the Windows and R keys at the same time and paste the above repertory. Edit "YourName" with the one of your Windows user account, then press Enter to access it.

Right-click on the Start menu icon and select Apps and Features. Select Microsoft Office > Modify. Then choose the option to repair the Office installation.

Well, apparently the new update seems to be somewhat broken. I installed an older version of 2019 from March 2020. This version has page numbers. So, thinking of sticking to this version instead of the new one.
