I need help pertaining to backing up my PS4

I have a fresh FAT32 USB with 30 GB nothing on it, done all the steps required, my playstation still says there is not enougn free space on USB storage device.

Hi,

The amount of data to backup on the USB key may require more than 30 GB, which is why your PS4 tells you that the space is not enough.
