Confused and getting ready to burn Labtop

Hello,
I have a labtop and am staying in a hotel and It is getting a signal and showing I am connected, but I am not getting any acces to any pages? I tries rebooting, restarting, and doing everything it says.. I even went in to there ffice and plugged it in to there ethernet. it worked for a day then stopped...please help.. I just bought this computer not even 4 months ago so its frustrating..
