Update messed me up

Hello,
Last night Explorer did an update , automatic, when I tried to turn it off. Now I cannot connect at all. I am on my laptop using the same server so I know it is not a server problem.

I run XP~ As I have not had any connections problems i am sure it is the last update . Additionally it is not a browser problem since I cannot get on with Safari, Firefox or Explorer.

I ran a diagnostic with Explorer and it came back with an error message. Ran it twice. Rebooted a couple of times also. Thanks for any help,

please start a new thread for this question and do not highjack my thread your querstion does not pertain to my problem so delte it and start a new thread for this
