Problem in heachatring in Voicechat

Hello,

I use dell laptop with Windows XP.I was using voice chat comfortably till 3months.

Now I am unable to hear other person voice while on voice chat. He is able to hear me. This happens with yahoo, google,skype etc.Mic is unmuted.

Can u help me with right solution.
