Dear Sir,

I wanted to preparare stock report with shrinakage or excess in percentage. For ex. Particualr dept.stock
has a shrinakage & current report is In Qty. & value. However i wanted to convert the same in to percentage.
For ex. X Dept. Diff in Qty. is 182 & Book stock qty. is 3704. how would put it in to %. Similarly, Diff.in value is 63,101 & Bkk value is 1,534,356.
Pls. advice how to calulate shrinakage in %.

not clear if you want percentage you have to divide and format it as percentage
suppose A1 is 2, B1 is 4
in another empty cell type
=A1/B1
you will get .5
if your format it as percentage it will be
50%

I realize this is too trivial that means I have not understood you.
