you have every chance for a sneaky virus to get into ur pc. i assume u have internet connection so it is best u update ur antivirus before u download anything. there are a host of good free version antivirus software, just install the free version antivirus ( for eg avg . anti virus ) and once the anti virus is updated u can download any programs safely,

Of course you can let it, or if there is a virus in there then you should not allow.
